Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) 8.0.6, after installing multiple application packs, you find that one of the Data Sources specified during the installation does not exist in the Data Management Tools > Data Sources.  For example, you put the following in the SILENT.props file prior to installation:

#Please specify if you want create new ETL Src pair or use an existing one.
# 0 = If you want to create a new ETL src pair
# 1 = If you want to use an existing pair
ETL_APPSRC_TYPE=1

#ETL Staging source description
ETL_SRC_1_DESC=STAGING
#ETL Processing source description
ETL_SRC_2_DESC=PROCESSING

However, "PROCESSING" is missing from the summary screen in Data Management Tools > Data Sources.  Additionally, there is no PROCESSING folder in /<ftpshare>/<INFODOM>/dmt/source.

If you check the 8.0.6 T2T definition table in the "config" schema, you find references to the missing Data Source.

select * from AAI_DMT_DEFINITION where v_source_code like '%PROCESSING%';

For example, V_SOURCE_CODE of "EXT~PROCESSING" exists in the table.

However, the Data Source does not exist in the "Object" definition tables:

select * from AAI_OBJECT_B where v_obj_code in ('PROCESSING');
select * from AAI_OBJECT_TL where v_obj_id in (select v_obj_id from AAI_OBJECT_B where v_obj_code in ('PROCESSING'));

Since the data source is used in definitions, you do not understand why the data source is missing from the user interface.
