Agile PLM Database (DB) Installer Returns ORA-04031: unable to allocate XXX bytes of shared memory When Small Size Is Selected (Doc ID 2503811.1)

Symptoms

When execute Agile Database (DB) installer, agile93XXdb_oracle.exe returns many following error:s

ORA-04031: unable to allocate XXX bytes of shared memory

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Execute Agile DB Installer agile93XXdb_oracle.exe.
  2. Go through the installation wizard.
  3. When prompted for Database Size Estimate, select Database size: "Small", and Next.
  4. Go through the installation wizard, and click Next to start the installation.
  5. Gets ORA-04031 error in the console and also agile9run.log.
