Shared Folder seen/unseen Flags Are Not Consistent Between Users

Information in this document applies to any platform.
For shared folders, the seen/unseen flags are not consistent between users.
For example, User1 looks at User2's inbox (which is a shared folder) and all emails appear to be set as unread, even though some of the emails were read by user2.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enable sharing of user2's INBOX with user1.
2. User1 subscribes to user2's INBOX.
3. Log in as user2 and read some messages, so there are some messages that are read and some that are unread.
4. Log in as user1 and select the shared folder for user2's INBOX. Note: All the messages are seen as unread.
