RWMS Allows to Move Less Than Inner Pack Size to FPL Using Replenishment Pick (Doc ID 2507295.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System - Version 13.2.6 to 10.3.9 [Release 13.2 to 10.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Replenishment pick task for less than inner pack size is allowed to be generated. Subsequently such replenishment picks could be completed and less than inner pack to be moved to FPL (Forward Picking Location) on which no further operation is allowed. It is expected that such container with less than inner pack size should be allowed to keep in reserve so that case/bulk pick directly out to the shipping door could be generated.

Steps To Recreate:
1. Have a case in reserve for less than inner pack size (Return to warehouse can create such a container).
2. Run ROP distribution and that also allows BD/CD pick to be created that can be replenished to FPL.
3. As per design, unit picks from FPL is only allowed in multiples of inner pack size, so quantity less than inner pack remains in FPL and cannot even be moved back to reserve.
