Symptoms

Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) does not display item description defined in Retail Merchandising System (RMS) for Non merchandise items . If Non Merchandise Item exists in RMS then description should be displayed. If not then generic description should be displayed.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create a non merchandise item in RMS (Sellable – Yes; Orderable – No ; Inventory – No and Merchandise – NO).
  2. Perform a sale for this item in Xstore and view the transaction in ReSA.
  3. Notice, ReSA does not display the description of this item as created in RMS  and instead shows it as "Non Merchandise item ".
