RMSMFM_ITEMS.GETNXT Performance Issue

During execution of an Retail Merchandising System ( RMS ) batch process, RMSMFM_ITEMS.GETNXT is processed during a longer time as the ITEM_MFQUEUE table is growing. The issue still persist only for large data provided as input.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Prepare at least 300000 records to publish in ITEM_MFQUEUE table
- Run related RMS batch process
- Monitor sessions and notice the SQL in question comes up as top SQL while Retail Integration Bus is getting the messages from ITEM_MFQUEUE table.
