Task_Log_Details Related DMS Error on Item Inquiry Screen (Doc ID 2511233.1)

Symptoms

RF item inquiry screen throws Database Management System(DMS) error and generating TASK_LOG errors and does not allow user to exit item inquiry screen.

Error:

ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("RWMS"."TASK_LOG_DETAILS"."ASSIGNMENT_ID")


Steps To Recreate:
1. Identify any item from stock.
2. Navigate to RF Item Inquiry and search for the item.
3. Select any container and click F7 followed by F5.
4. Notice that no container details shown on the Container Inquiry screen.
5. Click F3 to go back to Item Inquiry screen.
6. Click F5 and notice the DMS error.
7. Click F3 and notice the DMS error.
8. Every time you try to exit systemically,notice a DMS error. Only way to exit - close the Item Inquiry window.
9. Error_Log shows:
   ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("RWMS"."TASK_LOG_DETAILS"."ASSIGNMENT_ID")
