Getting "Invalid request" Errors After Changing Preferences to Financial Services Applications (Doc ID 2511834.1)

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

Symptoms

After installing an Oracle Financial Services application pack for 8.0.x, you updated the "Preferences" in the upper right corner and changed "Set My Home Page" from "Default" to "Financial Services Applications". 

 

After making this change, when you try to login again, you get the following error:

Invalid request / Error while processing request

Please contact your System Administrator for more information.

As a result, no users can log into OFSAA.
