Transformation Model Status Shows Invalid Status Even If Tables Are Marked As Completed And/Or Not Used (Doc ID 2512567.1)

Symptoms

On : 2.4.8.1 version the Transformation Model status is showing up as Invalid

The transformation has installed successfully and even the Validation map job was successful however status of transformation shows as Invalid.


Expect when it installs successfully, it shows Status as Valid, too.

STEPS
-----------------------

Navigate to the transformation Tab to see the status of the transformation and there are some of the invalid table maps.

Validation error:

Validation::
(1). Primary key column in the target table must be either mapped to source column or to a constant value.
(2). Mapping Required. All Primary key columns in the target table are unmapped.
(3). Not null columns in the target table must be either mapped to source column or to a constant value.
(4). One or more column expression(s) or criteria expression is invalid

Or

Validation::
(1). A join definition is missing columns
(2). One or more column expression(s) or criteria expression is invalid


You need to promote to Production life cycle as soon as possible.
