vatitem_*_corp_<delta/full>*.dat Files Are Created By export_itemvat.ksh Even If They Are Not Used By XCENTER (Doc ID 2513581.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 15.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

export_itemvat.ksh produces corporate files with item vat information. However, these corporate files cannot be loaded to XCENTER as dataloader on XCENTER side does not recognize the filename pattern vatitem_*_corp_<delta/full>*.dat.

On the other hand the batch export_itemvat.ksh produces also the files vatitem_*_<store number>_<delta/full>*.dat and these kind of files are consumed correctly by dataloader script to XCENTER

Steps to reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create new vat item relationship in RMS
2. execute export_itemvat.ksh batch in DELTA mode (similar will be for FULL)
3. Observe that this batch produces two kind of files vatitem_*_corp_<delta/full>*.dat and vatitem_*__<delta/full>*.dat
4. Try to load corporate file to XCENTER using Dataloader. file is not consumed.
