No Records in Risk Manager Output Table for a Product (Doc ID 251677.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM) or Risk Manager (RM) ignore records for a product.  There is no data in the Result Detail (RES_DTL_xxxxx) output table for this product even though records exist in the instrument table for the As of Date being processed.

There may be no visible error messages when running on the server or you may receive a "Failed" or "internal error" message.

When you check the ofsrm.xxxxx.log, you find the following error:

ORA-01438: value larger than specified precision allows for this column

The error prevents data from being inserted for a product.
