Enhancement: Synchronization Between OHI Claims and Product Definition (Doc ID 2517647.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Health Insurance Claims Adjudication - Version 3.18.3.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

For the building blocks OHI Claims is the source of truth. The building blocks are maintained in OHI Claims and migrated by the Outbound Data Set: PRODUCT_BUILDING_BLOCKS

Issue:
When the building blocks are moved to OHI Product definition and the item is deleted, recreated etc. the UUID will not match with OHI Product definition. There is no way to fix this issue, because the source is OHI Claims.

Example:
Cover withhold categories are maintained in OHI Claims.
If the UUID changes or if the record is deleted, it will not match or delete in OHI Product Definition.
The object will not be imported or deleted and thus will not match with the current situation of OHI Claims.

This means if there is a delete or change in UUID (for example a recreated cover withhold category or a copied line where the original is changed) in OHI Claims, the object can’t be imported. This can’t be corrected by the user through the UI. As a result it will keep causing errors during the import.

Expected functionality:
If a change is made in a “building block” within OHI Claims it should be represented also in OHI Product Definition after moving the buildingblocks.
