Unable to Add a Buddy in User Roster (Doc ID 2518014.1)

Symptoms

Unable to add a buddy in the user roster.

The 'Add Buddy' process not finishing with adding the records in the roster.

As an example, it fails with user <USERID>@xmpp-<host.domain.tld>. However, the 'Add Buddy' process works successfully with other users.

Sample extract from 'xmppd' log where the failure occurs:

 

Changes

 No configuration changes / upgrades were made to Instant Messaging server.
