MCAD Connector Inconsistent Behavior When Using “Create” Command (Doc ID 2518460.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

• MCAD connector version 3.6.1 behavior is inconsistent and faces several recurring issues when using the “Create” command:
o Freezes during design object creation and CAD software must be forcibly stopped to recover
o After selecting "New Object", CAD part is not launched in CAD software, though it is placed in the active workspace. When trying to open the CAD part from the workspace, it cannot be retrieved.
o Random number generator "123" icon is not selectable randomly (high percentage of the time). User is forced to disconnect their session and reconnect in order to be able to select the "123" icon
 

Expected Behavior

MCAD connector version 3.6.1 to be able to run Create command normally

Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch MCAD connector
  2. Eecute Create
