Error 'Recipient address rejected: Sender is not same as SMTP authenticate username' in a Unifier SMTP Outbound Mail (Doc ID 2519157.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to send an outgoing mail, the log contains the following error:

Recipient address rejected: Sender is not same as SMTP authenticate username

 

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. Configure and test both Inbound and Outbound Connection in Unifier SMTP.
  2. Try to send an outgoing mail.
  3. Notice the error in the log.
