New GLID In File Superseded Another GLID (Doc ID 2521184.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.17.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Some time ago, new entries were added to the pin_glid file. These entries were intended to be applied for a new type of product defined as Miscellaneous. In previous reports, the GLID 99999999 was applied to Cash (this still exists in the pin_glid file), and produced a record in the billed_unearned report.

The Cash record with GLID 99999999 was superseded by a new GLID 8000000 that was introduced later for a different concept than Cash. The issue is basically that the GL report was produced with error and needs to be reverted and fixed.
