"Error 404--Not Found" When Attempting to Reach a Managed Server URL Configured for SSL in a Clustered Environment

When attempting to connect to managed server, via SSL configuration in a clustered environment, the following error occurs:
Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure SSL in WebLogic for Team Member using certificate and keystore.
2. Go to Team Member URL using SSL.
3. Observe reported error.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot access the managed server using SSL URL.
