Issadmin.sh --listbrief Shows No Status on Accounts (Doc ID 2523243.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Indexing and Search Service - Version 1.0.5.18.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using: Oracle Communications Indexing and Search Service (ISS) 1u5-29.15600(1.0.5.29.0) (built 20161221)

On a few systems in the nightly reports of issadmin.sh --listbrief, seeing a few accounts that have no A, I, B, X status and have not changed in a few days.

For example:

2314 orphaned accounts were just deleted from this system 8 days ago.

There has not been any more migrations of users between backends since about two weeks.

Orphans were deleted from the backend (something normally done regularly, but had not happened for a couple months).

Deleted the accounts from listbrief which did not match users on the backend. That was the 2314 deleted 8 days ago.

We expected to see a corresponding status to the entries.  It does not appear normal that running the --checkstore is freeing up so much space when it's running.

Due to this issue, there could be evidence of on-going corruption.
