Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.2.0.10 version, Activity

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Activity Fields and Activity Multi Fields that are masked and encrypted do not work as expected. If you have a field that is both set to be masked and encrypted when you click 'Okay' on the activity it displays a warning saying "The entered data is not in an acceptable form for the field." When a user enters in data and clicks off the field, it masks it as expected, this issue triggers when the user tries to add the activity.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Mask and Encrypt functionality working together.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an Activity with a field or have a multi field where one field has both a mask and is set to be encrypted.
2. Add this activity in the system and enter in data to the field.
3. Click off the field and notice the mask is applied.
4. Try to add the activity via the 'Ok' button and notice warning message is displayed with the encrypted value.
