Changes Such as Resource Removal from Activities Are Not Saved When Using SQL Server (Doc ID 2524432.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Certain changes, such as resource removal from activities, are not being saved when using SQL Server 2017.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

All changes should be saved.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to P6 Professional and open a project.
  2. Go to an activity.
  3. Click Refresh (F5 key) to load the latest data from database.
  4. Delete a resource assignment on the selected activity (selected resource assignment).
  5. Select File > Commit Changes or press he F10 key to save the change.
  6. Press F5 again to refresh the current data.
  7. Exit P6 then relaunch the application and view the activity modified in Steps 2-4.
  8. Note the reported behavior.
