How to Use Adjustment Types with Mandatory Chars in Offset Request? (Doc ID 2525860.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Revenue Management and Billing - Version 2.6.0.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On RMB (Oracle Revenue Management & Billing) v2.6.0.1.0, we cannot use adjustment types with mandatory chars in offset request.

When we define adjustment type with a mandatory char and use it in offset request, System is throwing an error for missing characteristic.
As per the current config, Offset characteristics are not getting copied to the adjustment char.
Our custom algorithm can be plugged in after the adjustment is created. So right now, it is not possible for us to define adjustment type with mandatory char and use it in offset request.

Please advise how this can be done.
