Substance Information Populated Incorrectly In Products Tab (Doc ID 2525937.1)

Last updated on JULY 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety - Version 8.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In Argus 8.1.2:

When a case contains a 'Not Blinded' study, upon choosing a study drug the Substance Information section does not update the Ingredients information correctly.

Example:
Study drug Product A has Ingredient A and Ingredient B, both the Ingredients A and B are populated in the Substance Information as expected.

But, on changing the study drug to Product B to have Ingredient C, the values in Substance Information section remain the same as Ingredients A and B and do not get updated to Ingredient C.

We found the following reported bug:
Bug 28070496  : Incorrect Substance Name on Unblinding and Selecting Study Products

The detail in the bug references the following:
Erroneous Study Drug ‘Substance Name, Strength And Unit’ Details After Case Unblinding (Doc ID 2407107.1)

Which describes the behavior when "Unblinding" the study in the case.

Does this issue apply to 'Not Blinded' studies as well?
