Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 10.2.0.31 version, General

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
If AsFile updates a group customer while a user is manually processing an activity on the same group customer, a crash occurs.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
If an entity is modified by another user during processing, an on-screen error message should be presented alerting the user that their entity has been modified by another user or process, and requiring them to start over.

STEPS
-----------------------
Pre-requisites:
1) Enable ProcessImmediate in an environment.
2) have a Customer level transaction configured.
3) have an AsFile configured to create a customer level transaction.

Steps:
1) Navigate to a group customer, and select Add Activity
2) fill out the fields of the customer level activity, but do not select 'OK'.
3) Send an AsFile message to create an activity on the same group customer.
4) Click OK on the manually added activity.
5) Observe stack trace error.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
Due to this issue, user sessions can crash unpredictably if multiple people are working on the same customer simultaneously, and no helpful error is presented to identify why. All data filled out in the customer level activity is lost, and the user must log back in and start over.
