Default Approver Is Not Set While Changing Status of the Workflow for PPM Object When There Is Any Sub Task (Doc ID 2526697.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

Default Approver is not set while changing status of the WorkFlow for PPM Object when there is any sub task


Expected Behavior

Default Approver to be set while changing status of the WorkFlow for PPM Object even when there is any sub task


What Is Working

If the Task doesn't have any sub task then the approvers are getting auto populated while changing the status of the workflow


Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Java Client as admin user
  2. Open Workflow: Default Activities
  3. Go to Status tab, and select In Process
  4. Edit the status Criteria, and add admin user to Approver(s) field, and save
  5. Log into Web Client
  6. Create a Project, go to Schedule tab, and add Task A
  7. Open Task A, go to Schedule tab, and add Task B
  8. Change status of Project state to Active
  9. Open Task A. Cannot change status for this task (Change Status button does not appear)
  10. Open Task B. Change Status
  11. Go to Workflow tab and see user admin is added as approver of In Process status of Task B.
  12. Open Task A, and go to Workflow tab. Do not see approver added for In Process status ----> Issue reproduced
  13. Select In Process status, and click Add Reviewers. Select admin user as Approver, and Save. See the approver can be manually added to the status of the parent object
