Job Status View Log in P6 Professional Opens as a Tmp File

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When clicking the View Log button in the P6 Professional Tools > View Job Status window, a .tmp file is created instead of displaying the log.
Clicking the View Log button should launch a web browser window displaying the log file contents.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Start a job in P6 Professional (ex. copy/paste project, Update Baseline, etc.).
- Navigate to Tools > View Job Status.
- Once the job has completed, highlight the job in question then click the View Log button.
- Observe the reported issue.
