Symptoms


MDM bug when lighting rate has multiple rate versions

Issue - Error is encountered when billing item with rate version break for bill determinants (BD) service agreement (SA)

ERROR -
Errors in the message received from MDM


STEPS -
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Item based billing using New Rates (i.e. calc groups, not rate components)
2. Bill for a certain period (don’t complete)
3. Add a new effective calculation group for the billing period.
4. Rebill the non-completed bill segment – the new bill segment has the error reported by the customer
