Symptoms
Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) register application throws the following error while cancelling a manager override using fingerprint login.
Steps to reproduce:
Pre-requisite:
Finger print is turned on. The user 'Cashier' doesn't have permission to access pricing > discount, a manager override is expected when cashier tries
to give discount.
1. Log on as a Cashier
2. Initiate a transaction
3. Sell a few items.
4. Highlight the items and select pricing. Select discount.
5. System gives a prompt for manager, select yes
6. At the prompt for the finger print, select ESC on the keyboard.
7. It returns to the sell item screen.
8. Select pricing again
An Unexpected Exception Occurred message is displayed. POS Client log has the below Exception.
