Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Retail Store Inventoryt Management (RSIM) handheld displays item header details incorrectly when the item is associated to a differentiator whose description starts with X-******* where X is any single digit 0 through 9.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Login to SIM handheld and navigate to Lookups > Item Lookup
2. Enter any SKU that contains the affected Differentiator(s) (SZ40056 in this case; SKU 400000326504)
3. Notice that the system tries to display part of the description (size) as something that is selectable

Further, with the Ivanti Velocity client it is combining the remaining header items and it appears to be selectable (but is not).
