'UNKNOWN ERROR' Occurs While Saving System Configuration > Application Server Details Screen (Doc ID 2530750.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI) 8.0.6, when attempting to access System Configuration > Configure Application Server to update the Application Server password, the screen fails to open and the following error message appears:

<hostname>:<port> says

UNKNOWN ERROR

Additionally, the following error exists in the SMSService.log in the web server's OFSAA log directory:
