Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Health Sciences Data Management Workbench - Version 2.4.8.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

 When adding a DMW Web Service Location to InForm, the Test Connection fails with an error message saying the following;

Test Failed."Sending discrepancies failed due to an incorrect InForm web service call. Check the values entered for the web service location in the InForm data model or in the Administration page. To see all the values, select the web service and click the Modify icon."

The IIS logs on the InForm side show that the requests did come through but they show a 500 response (internal server error).

The event logs on the InForm machine have a couple of error messages at the same time. The one from the InForm Adapter Discrepancy Service just has a message saying AUTHENTICATION_INVALID and Unable to authenticate the requested user.

There is another error message from InForm which shows the following message:

TRUST OAM Authentication Module : SYSTEM_ERROR: Cannot validate credentials. '//<short org ID>/<trial name>/' is not protected by OAM.

or

TRUST OAM Authentication Module : INVALID_INPUT: Application ShortOrgId is null or blank.
