Error 'The query has timed out' When Scheduled Service JT_EnterpriseData Runs Nightly Using SQL Server (Doc ID 2530932.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run publication of enterprise data, the following error occurs in the log file:

com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The query has timed out.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the Publish Enterprise Data global scheduled service.
2. Job runs and fails.
3. View the reported error in the log.
