RMS To AIP Interface Does Not Take Into Account Allocations Made Against Transfers, ASN’s Or The Allocations (Doc ID 2531220.1)

Last updated on JUNE 14, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The interface to AIP does not take into account Allocations made against Transfers/ASN's/Allocation.

Steps to reproduce:
---------------------

  1. Create a transfer (TSF1) from Warehouse 1 to Warehouse 2.
  2. Using the Allocations module, create an Allocation (ALLOC1) and select TSF1 as the source for that Allocation and assign a store as a destination for that allocation.
  3. Verify that on the RMS to AIP extracts the Allocation is not deducted from Warehouse 2’s future available stock when it should because TSF1 is already “consumed”. This is inconsistent as AIP will under-order for Warehouse 2.
