Convergence "mailto:" hrefs are sanitized away and text/plain messages / parts lose all formatting (Doc ID 2531323.1)

Symptoms

The Convergence sanitizer has the effect of removing "mailto:" links.

The following parameters are set in Messaging Server and Convergence:


The problem now is that the mail address is no longer clickable in the Convergence UI to compose a new message.

Setting 'mail.htmlsanitizer.additionalwhitelist = "javascript:"' is not an acceptable workaround, as that completely defeats the purpose of using the sanitizer.
