Unable to Send Json Request for Existing Claims which Have a Case Opened (Doc ID 2535321.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 11, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Health Insurance Claims Adjudication - Version 3.18.3.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to update a claim by resending the JSON request with override indicator = Y and with an unfinalized reason then an error is received in the response.

ERROR
-----------------------
"GEN-RULE-020: The entity "AdjudicationCaseDomain Primary Key> 10,643,752" cannot be updated because it has changed or been deleted since it was last read",

The expected behavior is the claim should get updated and should get reprocessed when JSON request is resent.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Step1 : Push the JSON request for a new claim.
Step 2: Claim gets finalized with a case opened on one of the claim lines.
Step3 : Repush the same claim with override=true and adding an unfinalized reason code.
