12.2.7 Demantra Local Application Login Screen Doesn't Display Environments In Its LOV and no Edit Icon (Doc ID 2536961.1)

Last updated on MAY 29, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Demantra Demand Management - Version 12.2.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.7 version, DM-Gen

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Customer has upgraded from 12.2.5.1 to 12.2.7.1 and uses Mac for client
machine

The Demantra Local Application login window stores the environment but after
sometime it becomes blank again, at random.

The Edit Environment List window does not allow to copy/paste the URL or
enter multiple URL's . What they mean is one can paste URL in the
Environment: field, but if you click on edit URL you can only see the link
which was pasted into environment: If they want to store multiple URL's so that
they are always available in drop down ( test, production, dev etc for
example ) , they cannot do that

Please let us know how to store multiple URL's in the list, so that it is
available in drop down

The issue is not happening when we run the local application on the windows
machine. When we run the local application on MacOS, we don't see the drop
down.

There are two issues

1) The LOV is not showing the drop down. When we click it, it just shows the
last accessed URL and doesn't show any drop down values like that in Windows.
2) Also there is no edit icon

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect that the LOV has multiple URLs

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Invoke the Demantra Local Application
2. Check the LOV

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users have to manually input the host url for different environment every time they need to login
