Portfolio View Hanging With "Processing Request"

Information in this document applies to any platform.
In Manage Portfolio View, when trying to create a view or edit a view, the screen grays out and shows "processing request".
This will never progress.
Steps to Reproduce
- Log into P6 Web.
- Choose Portfolios tab down arrow.
- Choose manage portfolio views.
- Choose Create view and select an item.
- Screen will gray out and show "processing request".
