Symptoms

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control version 6.0.1 the Service Logic Execution Environment (SLEE) sometimes crashes during a Voucher Recharge scenario.

Triggering a voucher redemption:

Charging Control Services component (CCS) obtains Voucher information for recharges from subscribers using subscriber interaction through these systems:

  • IVR feature nodes in a control plan, subscribers can recharge their account by providing Voucher details through IVR (using the CCS voucher nodes)
  • interaction with a customer services representative (who uses the Voucher Management screen)
  • Short Messages sent from the subscriber's handset, and menus and fast access.

The validation of the Voucher is done by the chargeable service (usually CCS) through beVWARS plugins on the Voucher and Wallet Server (VWS).
