Verification Screen Cause A Stacktrace Error (Doc ID 2537566.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 22, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Policy Administration J2EE - Version 11.2.0.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.2.0.8 version, General

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Verification Screen cause a stacktrace error

Transaction that use an array to spawn activities and have a verification screen (we have many), have an error on the Verification Screen.

“Could not find definition for variable: Activity:PrimaryCompanyGUID”.

It seems like it loses context. By default, it should target the policy in context when doing a verification screen, which is what it does in 10.2. In 11, it doesn’t in the verification screen but it does work at the process of the activity if we skip the verification screen.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
expect that the verification screen and the process act the same and use the good
context.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Create an activity which use a verification screen.
Add it in a contract and click Verify.
See the error
Remove the verification screen to add it, and execute the activity
The activity is executed correctly
