distributedJMS Caching Not Working From BCC Updates To ProfileAdapterRepository (Doc ID 2537583.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 15, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Commerce Platform - Version 11.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The goal is for Administrators to update a User or their Organization via the BCC and have that infomration reflected in near-time on the Page Servers. To get there the cache-mode for both the 'user' and 'organization' item-descriptors, in the ProfileAdapterRepository, have been set to distributedJMS. However, after changing the cache-mode, on the Paging Servers, the administrator still has to go into dynamo admin to manually invalidate the cache on the ProfileAdapterRepository.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Updates to a User or their Organization, via the BCC, will be reflected in near-time on the Paging Servers.
