Copy Project Completes Successfully But The Activities And Assignments Are Not Copied (Doc ID 2538004.1)

Symptoms

After copying a project or adding baselines, the job service completes successfully, but activities and assignments are not copied/created and the following error occurs in the job's log file:

Copy Activities FAILED
Copy Assignments FAILED

Below error messages can be found from the P6WebAccess.html log.

The issue can be reproduced at will with any one of following steps:

A.
1). Login to P6 (Professional or Web).
2). Select a project then copy it.
3). The CopyProject job completes successfully.
4). Observe the reported issue.

B.
1) Create a new project
2) Add five activities
3) Go to Maintain baseline
4) Add baseline
5) Convert project to baseline
6) Open SQL Studio, open task table for the baseline project. This contains no tasks

C.
1) Create a new project
2) Add five activities
3) Copy the new created project
4) Open the copied project
5) No activities showed
