dm_ldap_email connections not closing in downstream provisioning application

The following errors are seen regarding provisioning requests:

The provisioning application has connection limit and the monitoring script restarts the application when that limit exceeds, so due to that restart a connectivity issue is seen for a few seconds.
To cope with this, it would be better if dm_ldap_email could reuse connections or close the connections when the transaction is done.

Can you please provide a solution to close or reuse dm_ldap_email connections to the provisioning application after transaction has been done ?
