While Changing Preprocessing Logic a Target Unreachable Error Occurs "Target Unreachable, 'null' returned null. Please contact System Administrator." (Doc ID 2539843.1)

When attempting to modify the 'onSaveTransferDetail(ActionEvent actionEvent)' method by creating a new class, for example 'CustomMaintainTransferDetailBackingBean' the following error occurs:

 The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Modify the method onSaveTransferDetail(ActionEvent actionEvent).
2. Create a new class CustomMaintainTransferDetailBackingBean which extends the class MaintainTransferDetailBackingBean.
3. Notice the error: 'Some error has occurred. Error received is: Target Unreachable, 'null' returned null. Please contact System Administrator'.
