Single Log Out (SLO) Feature In OSM For SAML2 Federation (Doc ID 2542919.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 11, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Order and Service Management - Version 7.3.5.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

One is interested in implementing  logout integration with a SSO(Single Sign On) identity provider, by changing the OSM(Order and Service Management) web applications (oms.war and osmwebui.war).

In the Logout.jsp, before redirecting the flow to the saml2slo XX-SSO page;

if (request.isRequestedSessionIdValid() && session != null)
{
session.invalidate();
}

 and then redirect the flow to the XX-SSO SAML2 SLO page:

response.sendRedirect("https://sso.net:XXXX/affwebservices/public/saml2slo");

If above method is not feasible, how can one intercept the logout cycle of OSM applications and insert a redirect flow to the SSO logout page, so that the SAML2 integration is complete.
