Card Search from Equipment Tree View >Action > Add Results in JPQL Syntax Error Parsing (Doc ID 2544679.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 29, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management - Version 7.4.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer on UIM 7.4.0.4.0. Modeled Shelf > Holder > Card specification.

Created a Shelf instance in UI with empty holders. Trying to add a card to a blank holder opens a new window to search for the card.
Doing a specification based search for card fails with following error:
"An exception occurred while creating a query in EntityManager: Exception Description: Syntax error parsing [SELECT o FROM Equipment o WHERE AND o.specification.name IN :holderRelsParam AND o.specification = :specParam AND (o.objectState = oracle.communications.inventory.api.ObjectState.ACTIVE OR o.objectState = oracle.communications.inventory.api.ObjectState.INACTIVE OR o.objectState = oracle.communications.inventory.api.ObjectState.QUEUED)]. [32, 32] The left expression is missing from the logical expression."

As per correct behavior, search should return cards from inventory.
