Forecast demand in MRP plan upon loading firmed planned orders for MPS items through MSC_ST_SUPPLIES.
I am loading firmed planned orders as collected data in ASCP using supply staging table MSC_ST_SUPPLIES.
As per Oracle user guide, I will need to associate the planned orders with a schedule designator (MPS) and this schedule designator needs to be in the plan options as demand schedule for the organizations that I am loading.
When I do that, it is not planning for any demand above or beyond the qty of the planned orders from the MPS schedule.
Planned orders 100 / week for 5 weeks
Forecast demand 100 / wk for 10 weeks
Sales order demand in week 1 for 200
-- Results show no additional planned order to satisfy the sales order demand and no other planned orders created after 5 weeks
