Users Are Unable To Find TSF_TYPE Of "CO" When Customer Order Is More Than To 14 Characters (Doc ID 2545479.1)

Last updated on JUNE 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Users are unable to identify correct transfer in RMS when customer order number (external reference number) is greater than 14 characters.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create two customer Orders from Order Management System (OMS) and send them to RMS. Ensure to use more than 14 characters as CUSTOMER_ORDER_NO e.g. Testing_customer_order_1, Testing_customer_order_2 etc.
2. Validate that a new 'CO' transfer is created in RMS and both have TSFHEAD.EXT_REF_NO trimmed to be 14 char - hence same for both transfers.
3. In 'Manage Transfer' - when copy ORDCUST.CUSTOMER_ORDER_NO in clipboard, e.g. Testing_customer_order_2 and paste in "External Ref No", it pastes only 14 character (same as in TSFHEAD) and retrieve both the transfers.
