Primavera Integration API Fails With Error "java.io.InvalidClassException: Filter Status: REJECTED" After Applying WebLogic Patch (Doc ID 2545502.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run the P6 Integration API after applying WebLogic security patch(es), the following error occurs.

com.primavera.integration.network.RMIConnectionException: error unmarshalling return; nested exception is:
java.io.InvalidClassException: filter status: REJECTED
at com.primavera.integration.network.RMIInstanceFactory.getRemoteInstance(RMIInstanceFactory.java:47)
at com.primavera.integration.client.DistributedSession.getDatabaseInstances(DistributedSession.java:88)
...
