Symptoms

Column reordering is not saved in the EDD when a new column is added to the beginning.

1) Update an existing EDD to include an additional column at the beginning.
2) Reorder the fields sequence to match the updated file (that includes the new additional column at the beginning).
3) Saving the EDD saves the newly added column, but does not save the reordering done.

This is very inconvenient when dealing with an EDD for a data file with a large number of columns.
