PFT Multi Currency is Always Dividing Exchange Rate Instead of Multiplying (Doc ID 2547523.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 17, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management - Version 8.0.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT)
Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

Goal

Question 1: How should exchange rates be populated for use in EPM applications?

Question 2: Have noticed that T2T for FCT PFT tables like T2T_FCT_PFT_ACCOUNT_CASA is refering to fsi_exchange_rate_hist.exchange_rate and multiplying with exchange rate in fsi_exchange_rate_hist

(FSI_D_CASA.MISC_LIABILITY_CR * fsi_exchange_rate_hist.exchange_rate)

Will this not create discrepancy?
