Last updated on SEPTEMBER 16, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 11.3.0.7.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 11.3.0.7.0 version, Business Configuration
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a deal ,which sends threshold notification once 80% gets exhausted. Suppose granted is 1GB and the notification is expected at 800MB.
2. Create an account and purchase that deal.
3. Use 770 MB in the request, in GSU ECE will give 30MB to use.
4. Check threshold notification got triggered.
Expected Behavior:
Threshold notification should get trigger ,once customer actually exhausts the 800 MB ,not when total consumption(including reservation amount) reaches 800MB.
Actual Behavior:
Threshold notification getting triggered on the basis of reserved amount instead of consumed amount in the ongoing session. Now suppose , User has 1GB of data and set the threshold notification to be send at 80% (i.e 800MB ). Now in the ongoing session ,suppose User has used 770 MB and system gives 30MB in GSU (Note: customer has still not used 800 MB) , the notification is getting triggered.
